Hobsons Bay City Council is giving Duosa Road a refresh. Resurfacing works between Bond Street and Langshaw Street in Altona North start on Thursday 22 October and are expected to wrap up by the end of October, weather permitting.

When is it happening?

Works will take place overnight from 7pm–6am, Monday to Friday. Daytime visits should not be affected.

What should I expect?

During work hours, there may be temporary road closures or traffic management on Duosa Road, such as stop/go boards or traffic lights. If Duosa Road is part of your route in the evening, allow a few extra minutes and follow the signage and directions from workers on site.

What is involved?

Council crews will be:

• Removing the existing road surface
• Levelling the base underneath
• Laying a fresh layer of asphalt
• Putting traffic devices back in place
• Repainting the line markings
